Hello everyone and welcome back to Microcast Monday. Short bursts of motivation and inspiration designed to get you on the right path for your day and week. Thank you all for the support for this amazing show and myself. I do appreciate YOU and I am grateful for YOU.
A big shout out of thanks and appreciation for our brave men and women who are working in the Criminal Justice Field. It's a very difficult environment, but everyday you go out and serve honorably and bravely. Remember you are honored, cherished and loved. Keep up the great work.
When you get up in the morning what are you thinking about? Are your thoughts focused on the negative? Are you focused on your anxiety or stress? Are you worried about money and how you are going to pay the bills? Or, are you focused on the positive in your life? Are you grateful?
When you start your day off in the negative, there is a pretty good chance you are going to remain in that mindset for the duration of the day #mindset. We have all stubbed our toe(s) at one point or another right? Did that experience send you in a tail spin for the rest of the day? I know it has for me in the past. But, you don't have to stay in that mindset. You have the power.
Remember YOU control your thoughts. Your mind is a garden. What you PLANT in your mind will grow. Before you get out of bed I want you to start thinking about the positive in your life. I want you to be grateful. Even if your life sucks right now.
This simple act WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
Go out and conquer your day.

MINDSET - YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING WITH THE PROPER MINDSET
An amazing and informative show
Rod says the following:
I immigrated to the US when I was six. We struggled to get by. I had to wear clothes from the Goodwill and eat expired food because that’s all we could afford. I decided when I was 18 that I was going to do real estate. Fast forward, and I've now personally owned and managed over 2,000 homes and apartment buildings. I'm host of the Top-ranked Real Estate Investment Podcast; “The Lifetime CashFlow Through Real Estate Investing Podcast" with more than 7,500,000 downloads. I'm also author of “How to Create Lifetime CashFlow Through Multifamily Properties” considered to be an essential “textbook” for aspiring and experienced multifamily investors. I'm passionate about real estate, business, life, success and giving back.I've combined my passion for real estate investing and personal development coaching with my personal philosophy of goal setting, envisioning, and manifesting success to train and coach people that want to escape the rat race.Experience:I started out buying houses in Denver in the 80's and ended up with over 500 single family homes there in a buy and hold strategy. I also had some apartment complexes. I then bought over 200 houses in Memphis. I then bought over 1,300 along the gulf coast of Florida along with some apartment complexes. I no longer love single family investing. My focus is now multifamily. I love talking and educating people about multifamily real estate investing one on one, as a coach, or through my podcast.

Forgiveness says you are given another chance to make a new beginning - Desmond Tutu
As you go throughout your day I want you to think about the people in your life you aren't forgiving. We all have people that have hurt us with words or actions, but when you fail to forgive and you harbor resentment and anger, the only person it hurts is YOU. In order for you to ascend and heal emotionally to the next phase or level in your life you MUST learn to forgive. Start today.

My next guest is going to motivate and inspire you. Brock Bevell is living proof that anyone, including YOU, can overcome every obstacle life throws at you.
Brock is a husband and father of 7 Children. He is a recovery coach and an advocate for those struggling with addiction. Brock has over 11 years of sobriety and 6.5 years working 1 on 1 with men and women who struggle with addiction.
In 2001, while working as a Police Officer, Brock was involved in an accident where a mom was prostituting her daughter out for sex in exchange for drugs. During the incident, Brock was run over and sustained notable injuries to his ankle and knee.
The injuries and surgeries from the accident led Brock on an extensive addiction to opioids. He openly shares his point of view of the life of an undercover cop, who dedicated his life to the often dangerous and clandestine world of informants, drug dealers, and addicts. While working as a police officer he shares his perception of those who suffer from addiction and alcoholism.
On the flip side, Brock didn’t intend to become a drug addict, but nonetheless found himself in a knock down drag out battle with opioid addiction, even turning to selling narcotics to feed his growing and out of control addiction.
The kicker you ask? The addict turned dealer and the thrill-seeking undercover cop is the same person – and that’s just the start of what is genuinely an incredible story of a man who at one point has to make the ultimate split-second decision as a police officer, finds himself growing to hate the addicts and dealers he is chasing, and ultimately becomes one himself.
Brock does indeed persevere and now over eleven years sober, shares his amazing story of high drama, intrigue and most importantly hope with Chasing the Vase!
A great and powerful interview.

I think a lot of people get caught up in the mistakes they have made personally and professionally and they dwell in that realm a lot. I know I do sometimes. I think of all the things I should have said differently, the compassion and empathy I should have given and so on. However, I do know that I continue to learn from my mistakes and grow from them. I encourage you to do the same. I also encourage you to BELIEVE that you ARE NOT DEFINED BY YOUR PAST. You have a chance RIGHT NOW to forge a new path with what you have learned.
YOU CAN DO IT. ANYONE CAN DO IT.

This is powerful show that will keep you on the edge of your seat. My friend, Victor Avila is back on the show. He is a former ICE Special Agent and is the Author of his new book, Agent Under Fire: A Murder and Manifesto.
“Former ICE Special Agent Victor Avila’s story of survival and courage is a harrowing must read. His dedication to obtaining justice for his partner, Jaime Zapata, who was murdered just inches away while on assignment in Mexico, is honorable and a reflection of his character. The government coverup of what happened and their retaliation against him for telling the truth is unforgivable. You won’t be able to put this book down.”
Agent Under Fire: A Murder and a Manifesto is a true story of unprecedented corruption, international intrigue, human trafficking, money laundering, drug-running, mass murders, and government evasion. Chalk full of page-turning stories and revelatory insights into Mexico’s criminal underworld, this book moves beyond the everyday true crime memoir and delves into the larger question of what it means for a family man to put his life on the line every day to topple some of the cruelest criminal organizations known to mankind. The book also serves as a manifesto, exploring solutions to misguided immigration policies and offering a unique perspective on what it will take to control our southern border and protect vulnerable American families.

You are going to love this next show. Conrad Weaver stopped by show. Conrad Weaver is an Award-winning producer and President and owner of Conjostudios, LLC, a video production company based in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Conrad received a Mid-America Regional EMMY® Award for his 2014 documentary feature, the Great American Wheat Harvest (2014). His second feature length documentary film, Thirsty Land (2016) was completed in early 2016 and is currently available on Amazon Prime. The award-winning documentary, Heroin’s Grip (2018) is Conrad’s third feature length documentary, and he is the executive producer and writer on a feature narrative film called Scars of an Orphan.
Conrad is creating the must anticipated documentary called PTSD911. Emergency first responders are suffering from post-traumatic stress in record numbers,
but they are often afraid of losing their job if they ask for help; this must change. PTSD911 is a documentary film about real people: normal, average human beings who have chosen to work in professions that require above average heroism, fortitude, and resolve. These men and women have jobs that require a willingness to face things that most of us can’t even imagine yet maintain a high level of dignity and professionalism. First responders in fact repeatedly see and experience things that most of us will never see, causing compound issues related to post-traumatic stress injuries and disorders.
Such a great and informative show.
