Hello everyone and welcome back to the show. In this episode, Patrick welcomes Major Charles "Chip" Huth to CJEvolution. Chip has 26 years of LE Experience and currently serves as The Commander of the Kansas City, Missouri Police Departments North Patrol Division. For years, Chip led the SCU Tactical Enforcement Team (SWAT) and has planned, coordinated and executed over 2500 high-risk tactical operations. Chip is also a senior consultant for the Arbinger Institute. With Offices in 23 countries, Arbinger is a recognized world-leader in improving organizational culture, conflict transformaton, and changing mindset. If that isn't enough, Chip has 35 years of experience in martial arts, with a background in competitive judo and kickboxing. Chip has also appeared on WINx presentations about leadership in law enforcement.
Chip and Patrick talks about a variety of topics, which include leadership in law enforcement, future challenges and the importance of developing an outward mindset. A great interview with a true law enforcement leader.

Hello everyone and welcome back. In this episode Patrick welcomes Elliot B. Spector to the show. Elliot is a former police officer and is the creator of The Spector Criminal Justice Training Network. Elliot has presented at many conferences on issues such as Officer Liability, Use of Force, Search and Seizure, Technology and he Law, Racial Profiling and many other important topics. Elliot believes that improving the quality of policing improves relationships with members of the community, reduces crime and enhances the ability of the police to serve and protect the community. Patrick talk about a variety of issues such as training for law enforcement, misconceptions the public has about the police and much more.
Elliot is also the author of Beyond Black Lives Matter - Building Trust Through Knowledge and Understanding. A great book that every criminal justice should read.

This term means friendly forces are firing on each other, and unfotunately it does happen sometimes. Unfortunately, in law enforcement data indicates that friendly fire incidents are on the rise. So much that the term "Blue on Blue" has been coined, which means friendly fire between law enforcement personnel. In this epsiode Patrick talks about some ways to avoid this deadly incident.

He is a retired Phoenix Police Department Officer with a 30 year career, which included working with the Maricopa County Sheriffs Department. Darren ended his law enforcement career as a Crime Stoppers Sergeant, allowing him the unique opportunity to share manic and funny cop-stories each week on a local radio station's rock morning show. Darren is the host of a law enforcement based radio show called "The 5-0 Info Radio Show", and the co-host of another sow called the "Young Reporters."

Hello everyone and welcome back to the show. In this episode Patrick welcomes Lt. COL Dave Grossman (Ret). He is a US Army Ranger, a Paratrooper (Serving with the elite 82nd Airborne Division), and a former West Point Psychology Professor. He has a Black Belt in Hojutsu, the martial art of the firearm, and has been inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame. Col. Grossman’s research was cited by the President of the United States in a national address, and he has testified before the U.S. Senate, the U.S. Congress, and numerous state legislatures. He has served as an expert witness and consultant in state and Federal courts. He helped train mental health professionals after the Jonesboro school massacre, and he was also involved in counseling or court cases in the aftermath of the Paducah, Springfield, Littleton and Nickel Mines Amish school massacres.
Today Col. Grossman is the director of the Killology Research Group (www.killology.com). In the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks he is has written and spoken extensively on the terrorist threat, with articles published in the Harvard Journal of Law and Civil Policy and many leading law enforcement journals, and he has been inducted as a "Life Diplomate" by the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security, and a "Life Member" of the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute.

He was a full time police officer with the Calgary Police Service for many years. He is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his contribution and commitment to Officer Safety in Canada and was named Law Officer of the Year in 2011.
