You know, I don't think there has ever been a time in history that we as a nation have been so divided, at least in my opinion. 1) Agree to disagree - Where have these days gone to?
 
2) Defund the police? Really? This only hurts the communities that need the police the most. And, for you who think that the police need to be abolished please come on the show and explain this to me. 
 
3) Everyone matters - This country was built on collaboration. Yes there is inequality and yes this country is flawed, but in order for us to FIX the issues we need to work together. NO GROUP is better than another period. The late Martin Luther Kin Jr. said it best " We must learn to live together as brothers, or perish together as fools"
 
4) COVID-19 AKA Corona Virus - The virus is real. I never said it wasn't. People have perished and that is horrible. But, someone tell me why I have to wear a mask inside a restaurant and I am then able to take it off for hours and have fun with family and friends, only to put it back on to go to the bathroom. Please explain the rationality behind this to me.
 
5) The future - More importantly, YOUR FUTURE. Stop worrying about stuff you have NO CONTROL over. In fact, most things we worry about NEVER come to pass. Remember that. Get your life back on track. Time waits for no one.

I am so excited to have my friend Kyle Reyes back on the show. During the pandemic if there is one area that most of use have had the time to work on, its probably our relationships. I know it has been for me. Being forced to stay home and limit outings has given most of us the opportunity to build our relationships, which hopefully for you, has been a good thing.
 
One of the biggest challenges and threats to building and sustaining a healthy relationship is that of "Scorekeeping" your partner or spouse. Her is an example of what this means: If your spouse or partner is always late, stop keeping a mental note of how many times this happens, and more importantly stop bringing this up to them.  This is often hard to do, but you must decide if this is a battle you want to fight. Now if they are doing it on deliberately then it might be a different story. A good gauge is if they are late with EVERYONE not just you. Maybe they have a hard time with time management, and they don't understand the time contstraints that come with driving through traffic to get to your dinner reservation on time. It could be many other examples - you get the point.
 
Scorekeeping can be very detrimental to a relationship and you must decide if something your partner or spouse does frequently is a DEAL BREAKER for you in your book. Maybe it is, but I now when it comes to me, a lot of things I get irrated about are just small things that will be forgotten soon. Remember the saying "Making Mountains out of Mole Hills?" Are you like that? You need to change things then.

So excited to have my next great guest on the show. His name is Jim Casey.
Mr. Casey had a successful career of 32 years in law enforcement culminating in his assignment as the Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Jacksonville Field Office from 2008-2012. There he led a staff of approximately 250 special agents, task force officers and analysts directing all FBI investigations in a forty-county area of North Florida. These included matters in counterterrorism, counterintelligence, cyber, public corruption, corporate fraud, and human and technical intelligence. During his 25 years with the FBI, Mr. Casey also served in the FBI’s Detroit, Indianapolis, and Cincinnati Field Offices, as well as two tours at FBI Headquarters, in positions of increasing responsibility. Most of his assignments were in counterterrorism and national security matters, and in 2001 while testifying at a special Scottish Court sitting in the Netherlands in the trial of two terrorists charged with blowing up Pan Am 103, it was stipulated he was an expert witness in counterterrorism.
Even though Mr. Casey has retired from The FBI he is still busy man. He is the President of FCS Global Advisors where he uses his background as an FBI Executive to help companies and organizations keep their people, property, and information safe by providing complex investigative solutions, litigation support, due diligence for business decisions, crisis management, personal and property security assessments, and cyber solutions.

As you head into your week remember to be safe. I recently re-read one of my favorite books called The Four Agreements by Don Miquel Ruiz. It’s a great book that I would encourage you to take a look at. It will change your personal and professional life for the better.  I am going to give you a sneak peak of what’s inside.
Be impeccable with you word – Remember to speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
Don’t take anything personally – Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.
Don’t make assumptions – Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely change your life.
Always do you best – You best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgement, self-abuse, and regret.

My next guest is Jennifer Tracy. When I think of persistence and perseverance, I think of Jennifer. Jennifer is on a mission to save lives. With courage and grit, she continues to inspire high functioning leaders to stop struggling silently and teaches the necessary steps it takes to find life on the other side of depression, anxiety, PTSD, perfectionism and possibly even thoughts of suicide. Jennifer knows pain, the pain of burying a husband and child. The pain of being diagnosed with PTSD and the silent pain that she describes as 'Scars That People Can't See.' Eight years after her loved ones died in a horrific car crash, Jennifer faced yet another battle surviving traumatic brain surgery, undergoing a Chiari I Brain Malformation Decompression. Real-life adversity has not let up for her. Her message for you- pain is universal- what you choose to do with it is powerful. Resiliency comes from mastering the necessary skills it takes to endure, grow and never give up. Her studies at the Metropolitan State University of Denver that she finds most relevant to her business mission and enhance her programs include Human Services, Criminal Justice, Victimology, PTSD and Psychology, however she feels the most useful degree she holds is her Honorary Doctorate in “RLE” (Real Life Experience)! Early in Jennifer's life, she experienced abuse on many levels. In spite of those hardships, she graduated a year early from high school with a 4.0 GPA. At the age of 29, she lost her husband and one of her twin daughters in a car crash caused by a drunk driver. Her other two surviving daughters McKayla and Amber, who were left permanently injured, have both graduated from high school, and her oldest daughter McKayla recently graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Criminal Justice Degree. In 2009 she was invited to be the keynote speaker at the annual MADD Law Enforcement Recognition Event in Denver. Since then she has positively influenced countless thousands with her community programs, speeches, and her book, "Inside the Mind of Suicide." Her life's purpose is to help others never give up and find life on the other side of grief, thoughts of suicide, pain, regret, and adversity. These roles allow Jennifer to work as a true force for good in the world.
